My Experience with Kids

I’ve always loved working with children, and my experiences so far have only strengthened my passion for teaching. From hands-on learning to creative activities, every moment spent with kids has taught me patience, communication, and how to make learning fun and engaging.

Daycare Experience

I worked at a local daycare, where I helped children explore, learn, and play every day. My responsibilities included reading stories, guiding art projects, helping with group activities, and making sure every child felt included and encouraged. One of my favorite moments was seeing a child’s face light up when they finally mastered a new skill — that’s why I love teaching so much!

Volunteer Work

In addition to my daycare experience, I’ve volunteered at local community programs for children. I helped with tutoring, reading sessions, and organizing fun activities like games and arts & crafts. These experiences taught me how to adapt lessons for different ages and learning styles and showed me the joy of making a positive impact in a child’s life.

Skills I’ve Gained

Through both daycare work and volunteering, I’ve developed skills that will make me a strong future educator, including:

    •    Patience and empathy: understanding each child’s unique needs and challenges

    •    Creativity: designing activities that are both educational and fun

    •    Leadership: guiding groups of children while maintaining a positive environment

    •    Adaptability: adjusting lessons on the fly to keep kids engaged and learning

Favorite Moments

Some of my favorite moments include helping children discover a new skill, seeing the excitement in their eyes during a creative project, and hearing their laughter during playtime. These experiences continually inspire me to become a teacher who makes a difference in every child
